Mercedes-Benz's new EQC 4x4 Concept would let you off-road on battery power
Mercedes-Benz mid-October showed off a jacked-up version of its EQC electric SUV, one it’d given some massive off-road tires and dubbed the EQC “4×4 Squared” Concept.
The ride height is the first noticeable modification to this prototype — it’s been raised a whole eight inches, giving it 11.5 inches of ground clearance.
Mercedes says the approach angle is 31.8 degrees, the departure angle is 33 degrees, and the breakover angle is 24.2 degrees. The water fording depth is almost 16 inches, if you’re brave enough to drive an electric car in the water.
