5 things I learned driving the 2021 Polestar 2
Polestar’s new 2 has a huge task at hand. It must take on the might of the fastest-selling electric car ever — Tesla’s Model 3 — a task the equivalent of, not so long ago, trying to snatch some of the glory that was BMW’s 3 Series at its peak.
And rather than outright performance and range, the Polestar message seems to be one of all-round environmental friendliness — not just the emissions reduction of powering motors by battery, but also in the materials with which it constructs its interiors.
