The new Fiat 500 is an EV coupe that may or may not come to Canada

Though it's based on an all-new, all-electric platform, the cute city car doesn't look a lot different than its predecessor.

After being killed off for the 2020 model year, the Fiat 500 is back for 2021, and it’s more electric than ever. Whether it returns to Canada, though, is not certain.

The tiny EV now produces 116 horsepower from its 42-kWh lithium-ion battery, which gives it a range of 199 miles (320 km) on a fully charged battery. It only takes 35 minutes to charge that battery up to 85 per cent, thanks to the supplied 85-kW fast charger.
