ZEV registrations surged 33 per cent in Q3 over Q2, says new StatsCan data
Zero-emission vehicle registrations reached 12.1 per cent, powered by the single biggest quarterly leap in ZEV adoption in Canada to date, according to Statistics Canada.
The market share of zero-emission vehicle (ZEV) registrations in Canada surged to a new all-time high in Q3 2023, according to data from Statistics Canada.
After a lacklustre first half of the year that saw ZEV market penetration hold steady at 8.6 per cent — down from a previous quarterly high of 9.6 per cent in Q4 2022 — ZEV registrations in the latest quarter surged to 12.1 per cent.
