Next-gen Jeep Wrangler due 2028, midsize truck on the way

Upcoming Ram, Dodge, and Jeep trucks and SUVs will include battery-only and extended-range models, details from Stellantis-UAW contract reveal.

The United Auto Workers (UAW) has reached a tentative contract with Stellantis in the U.S., and while it has yet to be ratified, it looks like the end of the strike by the auto workers. A closer look at the contract also reveals some clues as to what’s coming down the Stellantis pipeline over the next few years.

One of the big deals for the UAW was saving the Belvidere plant in Illinois, which built the Jeep Cherokee before Stellantis discontinued that model and idled the factory earlier this year.
