An exceptionnal succes for the MEVS 2023 !
More than 130 exhibitors, 22 car brands, 65 vehicles on road tests for a total of 2,481 car and SUV tests with 4,634 people on board in addition to 4,000 small vehicles’ tests on the indoor track, these are impressive statistics for the 6th edition of the Montreal Electric Vehicle Show (MEVS).
Between Friday 1 p.m. and Sunday 5 p.m., exactly 32,387 people descended the steps of the Montreal Olympic Stadium, which represents a relatively small drop on the last edition. The roadworks, in particular at the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine tunnel, on the 40 and at the access to the Stadium via Pierre-de-Courbertin have their share of responsibility, but it is above all the delivery times for the vehicles and the current economic context that have had their effect on this drop., which allowed visitors to enjoy greater ease on the pitch compared to last year.
The many works and the cold temperature of this early spring did not dampen the enthusiasm of the population of Greater Montreal for electric vehicles.
The major manufacturers have put on their 36 to offer magnificent Exhibition Stands to visitors. This edition was not only the biggest but also the most beautiful. Event promoters, exhibitors and visitors are extremely satisfied.
The 7th edition of the MEVS will be held in the spring of 2024, still in April at the Olympic Stadium. Be present at our next meeting!
