First Drive: 2022 Hummer EV Edition 1
While there are many remarkable things about the all-new Hummer EV, one of the most surprising was the near absence of ‘electric capability’ cheerleading by the GMC team that hosted the world’s automotive press in the Sonoran Desert to drive what they call the world’s first ‘supertruck.’
Now, I’ve sat through dozens of new EV tech talks before getting behind the wheel on First Drive programs, and without exception these presentations are deep dives into the inner electrical workings and subsequent real-life applications, from range to charge time to regenerative braking.
