The all-new Kia EV6 makes a Canadian Premiere at MEVS and QEVS
The highly anticipated Kia EV6 will be showcased in a consumer show for the first time in Canada at both Montreal and Quebec Electric Vehicle Shows. It will also be present at road tests in its GT-Line version.
The EV6 is the first of Kia's new generation of electric vehicles. This crossover is halfway between the Sportage and Sorento, but with a lower profile and equal wheelbase to the big Telluride.
Autonomy up to 499 km
Two batteries are available (58 or 77.4 kWh) as well as rear-wheel drive (one motor) or all-wheel drive (two motors). There's even a GT performance version that totals 577 horsepower. The SR (Short Range) variant can travel 373 kilometers thanks to its 58 kWh battery. The 167 horsepower cavalry is routed to the rear wheels. The extended range (LR) versions are offered with the 77.4 kWh battery. By opting for rear-wheel drive, the range is 499 km, whereas it is 441 km with all-wheel drive.
