Ford E-Transit and Industry Day at both MEVS and QEVS

The Ford E-Transit, the first 100% electric utility van will be presented exclusively in Canada at both MEVS and QEVS and at the same time an Industry Day will take place at the events.

E-Transit

Canada's best-selling van is about to lead businesses into the future. It is currently the only electric work van in the country. This unveiling may seem trivial to some since we are talking here about a vehicle with a mainly commercial vocation. But when you think about it, this is one of the biggest unveilings. Imagine the number of tons of CO2 that are emitted each year because of the delivery vehicles that waste millions of liters of gasoline making short trips to our cities.

The E-Transit is therefore a mid-size commercial van, which offers more than 200 kilometers of electric range. If that number doesn't sound impressive, remember this is a commercial vehicle, and Ford reportedly analyzed 30 million miles driven by companies around the world to determine the "ideal" range.

By plugging the vehicle into a fast charging station, Ford promises that the E-Transit will be able to recover nearly 50 kilometers of range in just 10 minutes. The battery density is announced at 67 kWh. As for power, the E-Transit will have a 266 horsepower engine and 317 pound-feet of torque. We therefore promise a delivery vehicle that is both fun to drive and capable of driving without boredom even if it is full of equipment.

New: Industry Day

Important novelty, for industry professionals, the Industry Day which will be held on Friday from 9:30 am, will be an opportunity to connect stakeholders from the private and public sectors, active in the electrification of transport. It will host, among others, vehicle, battery and component manufacturers, electricity suppliers and infrastructure and terminal developers. Also, installers, contractors, transport companies, fleet owners, municipalities… will be invited free of charge during this day. This day is by invitation only.

Don't miss the opportunity to come and see the E-Transit MEVS commercial van which will be held at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal on April 22, 23 and 24 as well as at the QEVS which will be held at the Centre de Foires de Québec on May 13, 14 and 15.
