New electric Jeep coming early 2023, Ram EV pickup to follow

Global automaker Stellantis hauled the covers off portions of its plans for the future at an event February 28, speaking in broad terms about strategy goals but also providing a glimpse into our favourite subject — new product.

First up is an all-electric Jeep, announced by CEO Carlos Tavares and promised for launch in the first half of next year. The machine seems to be sized for the compact or subcompact crossover segment, taking many styling cues from the Renegade and Compass.

Jeep’s blue EV-brand marking pops up on the grille and tailgate of this unnamed product, one which Tavares described using the words “open-air freedom, fun, and style.” The Jeep brand’s first 100-per-cent battery-electric SUV is promised for early 2023.
