Louelec makes EV medium terms rentals easier
“Just like we did since launching Louelec last year, we created this 4 / 6 / 12-month offer to answer a growing demand in the market.
Up until today, there was no offering in between hourly/daily rental (traditional rental companies) and leasing or actual purchase at the dealership, that locks customers for 4 to 6 years. The subscription economy est everywhere, but traditional automotive actors are lagging and very rarely offer electric cars solutions”, explains Léo Bouisson, Louelec’s General Manager.
“People are just fed up with dog or smoke smells in an hourly rental car, premium pricing for a daily rental of a gas-powered car, or with the handcuffs that come with a leasing. With Louelec, we allow anyone to enrol into a flexible electric car subscription; be it a foreign student in town for a 4-month session, a future car owner that wants to try a model for 6 months without being engaged for the long-run, or a professional on a 12-month work assignment, there is an offer for everyone”
Currently offering 3 models (Chevrolet Bolt, Hyundai Kona and Tesla Model 3), Louelec built strategic partnership with brands and dealership to get a privileged access to new models as they come out of factory.
“We expect the Hyundai Ioniq 5 in the Fall, and the Ford F-150 Lightning in 2022”, proudly says Léo.
Louelec’s rentals are all-inclusive, with unlimited mileage, insurance, maintenance, tire change and storage, roadside assistance and more. They deliver the car to your place (in the Greater Montreal), and promise a delivery within 7 days.
“We just want to make it easier for anyone to drive an electric car, to do our part in Canada’s transition to all-electric, and we want to make this experience as easy, flexible and affordable as possible”, rounds off Léo Bouisson.
