The Hyundai IONIQ 5 makes its Quebec debut at the MEVS and QVES
The highly-anticipated Hyundai IONIQ 5 will be on public display for the first time in the province of Quebec at the Electric Vehicle Shows in Montreal and Quebec City.
Scheduled for market launch this winter, the IONIQ 5 will be the first model in a whole new suite of electric vehicles from Hyundai. The IONIQ family of electric vehicles will be based on the automaker's next-generation E-GMP architecture, fully dedicated to electrification.
Technological innovations
In addition to its choice of batteries, All-Wheel Drive availability, and a competitive range of up to 480 kilometres, IONIQ 5 is making giant strides in technological, design and ergonomic innovations.
For example, the front seats recline with footrests, allowing occupants to rest while waiting at a charging station, and the interior features eco-friendly materials and nature-inspired colours at many touchpoints. IONIQ 5 will also offer the latest technology from Hyundai. IONIQ 5 will be the first Hyundai to offer its new Augmented Reality Head-Up Display (AR HUD), which essentially transforms the windshield into a display screen.
