All new Vancouver hotels must soon have 100 per cent EV parking, by law
Vancouver City Council has approved regulations that will guide developers of new non-residential buildings in the area to include plenty of charging options for electric vehicles.
Announced earlier this month, the by-law makes it mandatory for all new non-residential buildings to have EV charging infrastructure in at least 45 per cent of parking stalls.
And in new hotels and car-share parking lots, 100 per cent of stalls must offer EV charging options.
