An all-electric GMC pickup is on the way in addition to Hummer
Keen ears attending a General Motors business call on Monday picked up a key tidbit about future product at the GMC brand. After the briefest of mentions in previous conversations, it now seems an all-electric Sierra will appear in the next couple of years.
The development of EV pickup trucks continues apace, with examples shown by companies like Ford and Rivian (and, yes, Tesla). The few major manufacturers who have yet to show a prototype have nevertheless promised such a machine is forthcoming. Count GMC in the latter group after Duncan Aldred, the brand’s Global Vice President, confirmed such a vehicle yesterday.
