Coachbuilder Ares turns Tesla Model S into a two-door convertible
Coachbuilders Ares Design have just completed one of the best Tesla Model S Convertible conversions we’ve ever seen, and also added a few new features we had always hoped Tesla would install from the factory.
To make the convertible, the rear pillars were removed, and the roof cut off just behind the windshield.
A fabric soft top stows neatly under the rear deck, but, unfortunately, Ares hasn’t released any pictures of the vehicle with the top up. Chassis-strengthening sections have been added underneath the vehicle to gain back some of the lost rigidity.
